This writing is intended to explain how we collect, share, use, and protect information that you provide to us when you visit our website, open an account using our online banking platform, process transactions, view content through any digital advertising campaign, or engage with us on any mph.bank branded social media sites.   Throughout this writing, any references to how we use your information through online or digital channels will be referred to collectively as “digital services.”  Any references to “us,” “we,” or “bank,” means mph.bank.

Generally,

  • All of our digital services are intended for a U.S. audience.
  • We do not collect information on children under 13 except accounts opened for a minor by a parent or legal guardian as a joint owner. Access and permissions to digital account services are designated by the parent or legal guardian until the minor reaches the age of majority. The understanding is that the age of majority is 18 except for the states of Alabama and Nebraska (19 years of age) and Mississippi (21 years of age).

Information and images we collect:

There are many ways you can interact with us online, including a mobile device.  We may offer sites or applications that permit browsing and do not require registration.  We may also offer the ability to enroll, register, or access your accounts online.  This information includes your name, address, email address, and other contact information to include data resulting from your activity, such as transaction information, the pages you visit Site location information, and behavioral characteristics, such as keystroke and mouse movement patterns.  We may also collect additional information such as the type of device and browser you are using, the IP address of our device, information about your device’s operating system, and additional information associated with your device.  We may also collect information through cookies, tags, and other technologies described below.

We collect images that you provide to us as part of ordinary business purposes.  For example, we will ask you to provide an image of your primary identification (Drivers License, Passport, State ID, etc.), as well as other images to support our identification purposes when you apply for an online account with us.  We will never collect an image from you that you have not provided express permission for us to use, or permission is implied due to the nature of the digital service you engage.   i.e you access the mobile check deposit service, which cannot process your check deposit without you uploading the front and back image of the check you want to deposit.
